I am a forty-three year old mom of two college boys. I am in the medical field as quality-control manager for the Radiology Department of a major University Hospital. That doesn’t leave a LOT of time for writing, but I do what I can.
I have written since I can remember, but only recently decided to follow my dream; and try to become published.
I know I have a LOT to learn, and so I constantly rely on the experts, some of whom I have included in the blogroll. I read and study their information daily.
I am blessed to have a wonderful husband of twenty-three years, who supports my writing 100%, and the best parents in the world.
My great love is historical fiction, as my blogroll will attest. I hope you enjoy my blog. I am just a complete novice, trying to learn my way.
Love all the pictures and comments…
Dear Janet-
I just wanted to say what a marvelously brave and creative woman you are. I am a quarter finalist as well in the ABTNA, general fiction, and I was quite moved by your enthusiasm. I went on your blog, followed your query progress on Query Shark and want to wish you all the luck in the world with your book.
Does Holbein figure into the story?
best,
Bradford
thank you so much for your comment! And congratulations for making the quarter finals! YAY! I was SO nervous on query shark, and couldn’t believe she even picked me!
Yeah, Holbein will figure into the story, once we (ahem) meet him.. LOL
Hello Janet,
We exchanged notes about Eleanor of Aquitaine earlier. Then I did a search for you and discovered that you have a blog, this one. So I read it. I’m so happy that you have finished a first draft. That’s the toughest part the first time around. Congratulations. Well deserved, I’m sure.
